This method is the easiest to do as it requires just three household items. So, grab a ruler, a pencil, and a piece of string to measure your ring size in just under a minute.
Step 1 - Wrap a string around your finger. If you don’t have a string, you can even use a piece of paper.
Step 2 - With the help of a pen or pencil, mark the point where the ends of the paper or the string meet. Take someone’s help if you’re unable to mark it yourself.
Step 3 - Now take the ruler to measure the length of the paper or string to the marked point.
Step 4 - Check the ring size chart to find the size that corresponds to what you just measured and voila, you are good to go!

Measure your ring size using a size chart
This method is perfect for you if you already have an everyday ring that fits you beautifully. Using that ring and a ring chart, you can easily find your ring size.
Step 1 – For this, you would need to take a printout of the ring size chart at 100%. Ensure that the line in the image measures exactly 135mm.
Step 2 – Now, keep your ring in a manner that the black circle exactly touches the inside of your ring. This will give you your exact ring sizing.

Measure your ring size using a plastic ring sizer tool
For using this method, you would need a ring sizer tool. This tool is not expensive and gives pretty accurate results.
Step 1 - Slowly adjust the buckle of the ring sizer till you feel that you can put your finger through it.
Step 2 - Once you have adjusted your finger in it, you need to make it a little tighter until it’s comfortable.
Step 3 - Try sliding it over your knuckles to make sure it can glide with little resistance.
Step 4 - Now, check your ring size inside of the buckle of the ring sizer.
In all the methods discussed above, we suggest that you measure your ring size at least three to four times to get it right. Taking only one measurement may result in some inaccuracy as it is possible to have errors while measuring.
When is it best to measure your ring size?
It might not be noticeable but our fingers do get a little swollen or shrunk throughout the day as we do various daily activities.
